Shop with a Cop Program
The Rhinelander Police Department "Shop with a Cop Program" takes a group of area third grade students shopping for Christmas presents. The Rhinelander Police Department works with Rhinelander area schools to select a group of hard working, less fortunate third grade students to participate in the program.

The selected children are paired up with a Police Officer and/ or Firefighter who help them select gifts for themselves and family members. Once the gifts are selected Officers and Firefighters, along with help from their spouses, assist the children in wrapping the presents purchased for their family members. The success of the Shop with a Cop Program relies heavily on donations from the community.
